About Oyster Bake: Oyster Bake takes place each year on the first weekend of
Fiesta® San Antonio. The two-day festival is located on the campus of St. Mary's University.
More than 7,000 volunteers take part in the organization and execution of Oyster Bake, which is visited by over 60,000 patrons each year.
History of Oyster Bake: The first Oyster Bake was held in 1916. However Oyster Bake did not become an official Fiesta San Antonio event until 1974. Read more about the

Who Benefits: Oyster Bake raises funds for St. Mary's University student scholarships and university and alumni programs. In 2007, the net profit from Oyster Bake was nearly $650,000.
2008 Oyster Bake: Fiesta Oyster Bake will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 through Saturday, April 19, 2008. The official sponsors of Oyster Bake are Ford, Miller Lite and Wachovia.

Oyster Bake Admission: - Adults at the gate: $20

Discount presale tickets will be sold for $16 at local San Antonio HEB stores in early April.
Oyster Bake Food: Obviously, there are a lot of oysters - baked, fried and raw. You will also enjoy a variety of other food including chicken, tacos, fajitas, turkey legs, hamburgers, sausage and corn. Oyster Bake also offers an array of beverages (including beer) and desserts.
Oyster Bake Coupons: Oyster Bake food must be bought with special Fiesta Oyster Bake coupons, valued at 50 cents each, which can be purchased from various coupon booths at Oyster Bake.
Food and beverage items cost anywhere from one to twelve coupons. Carnival games and rides normally cost between two and six coupons.
The coupon booths do not accept credit cards. Checks up to $50 can be accepted with a valid driver's license. There are ATMs available on the grounds.
